Web Traffic Identifier Tool

Google analytics is a great tool and it can tell you a lot about the performance of your website. What it doesn’t tell you is which businesses are visiting your website. With the Web Traffic Identifier Tool, you can see the names of which businesses have visited your website, contact information, demographics, search behavior, and financial data. This is all visible to you an easy to read dashboard. Even the basic functions of Google Analytics comes through to the dashboard.

The tool has several important features that can help make your sales team more effective. Run the Web Traffic Identifier in conjunction with other ongoing marketing campaigns and you can increase your ROI. Below, I’ll discuss a couple of the features that I find to be the most helpful.

Data Manager

The data manager allows you to load in accounts and account information for which you may be targeting in other marketing or advertising campaigns. For example, you’re targeting 100 high value accounts that you want to secure as new customers. You load those accounts into the data manager. With the data manager tool, you can create categories that will be automatically assigned to any of the 100 target accounts.

You can create a rule that automatically categorizes that account when they visit the website. You can also make the tool send a notification to a sales rep telling them about the recent activity on your website. Every time they come to your site, you’ll be able to track it against all your other marketing/sales efforts. This can give you a better idea of what type of information that account is interested in.

How about adding a list of current customers? See when current customers visit your website. If they need help, you can help them. If they’re interested in a new product, now you can put them in a nurture campaign for that product. Or, just call them and see if they need help with anything. Use it as an opportunity to provide customer service without pushing a sale.

Tracking Site Navigation

A lot like Google Analytics, this tool will tell you which web pages the prospect visited. It also tells you how long they were on a page, what they clicked on, and where they moved to next. That information can help you develop a better website. It can also help you become better at providing a prospect with content and information that they’re interested in. If they visited your “Contact Us” page, they might be getting ready to reach out. Maybe setting a time to follow up for the next day or two is a good idea.

Identify New Prospects

So you have a great list of target accounts that you know you want as customers. You even identified the contacts to target at those accounts. That’s a really great start to any sales and marketing campaign. You’ll be able to use that list to see if those accounts are visiting your website. And that’s great. But what about the accounts that you don’t know about?

The Web Identifier Tool will show you businesses that are visiting your website that you don’t have on your target list. It can show you potential customers that you didn’t even know existed. When they do visit your website, you’ll be able to see what they were interested in. Then, market to them with information they’re probably interested in receiving.

Not Ready to Integrate a CRM But Still Want to Manage Leads?

Maybe you’re not ready to integrate this tool with your CRM. No big deal. There is a feature called Lead Manager within this tool that acts as a simplified CRM software. Track the status of the prospect. Record your call notes. Schedule follow ups. Move the lead through the sales process.

Free Trial

Wondering how this tool performs in action? You can request a free trial to run in the background on your website. Typically the trial run is for 1-2 weeks depending on the volume of traffic to your site. When the trial is up, we’ll take you through a demo of the tool and show you all the traffic to your website. We’ll also show you how you can use the tool in a way that makes the most sense to your company.
